Rheumatoid arthritis

Well my doctors appointment was quite an experience. I had made the appointment early in the morning for yesterday for 7pm. When I arrived they didn't have me listed for that day but for the next day. Since I was already there I decided to wait. Wow that was a mistake! I didn't get seen until 8:30pm!

The doctor was very helpful and I finally might have an answer! He thinks I might have rheumatoid arthritis which in itself isn't a good thing but at least I'll have an answer. It was so nice to finally be believed that I truly am in pain. While he was checking out my back, he said he could feel the muscles spasm so he knew I was telling the truth. He also said the other doctor who blamed it on my weight was taking the easy way out because the type of pain I'm in isn't caused by weight. I so want to go tell off the mean dr! (hmm maybe I can sue him for malpractice if I do indeed have RA, hehe)

I was given flexeril (muscle relaxer) and they also increased my dose of tramadol. Too bad tramadol doesn't work but at least the flexeril does. And the doctor says once we get the test results back, they will map out a pain management plan for me.

So anyone reading my blog (IF anyone does, lol) if you are familiar with rheumatoid arthritis, let me know.
