I know I have said this before but...dang it has been a LONG time since I have updated this! Things were just really crazy in my life the last couple of months are so. I guess the best way to update it for everyone is to give little updates for everyone in the family. To be fair, I will go youngest to oldest, lol
Aidyn
He is doing really good in kindergarten! He is starting to read & can sound out a lot of words. Sometimes it amazes me how much he can read! It is so awesome to see him really trying and doing so well! He is also behaving MUCH better in school now. Gone (hopefully forever) are the days of him getting in trouble every day, lol Now if he could just be good at home too.
Oh as most of you know, he is obsessed with play weapons of any kind. Everything from swords, guns, numchucks, & grenades. As long as it is a weapon, he'll love it. He has a lot different play swords but has recently started to collect guns as well. The only problem is we are having a hard time finding places that actually still sell play guns. I can understand some parents do now want their kids to even play that they are "killing" someone but Aidyn does not do that. He uses it for his "made up bad guys" Anyways, I found the BEST site for him. They only sell toy weapons & have a lot to choose from. I found the site a few days ago & ever since he has wanted me to open it up for him & spend hours picking out just the right gun.
Madison
She is also doing really well in school. She continues to get 100%'s on pretty much everything except her math homework which she sometimes gets 96%. Everything comes so easy for her, that when she struggles she ends up getting really upset. But she has always been that way, my sweet emotional little girl.
Oh the other day her & Aidyn did the turkey wish bone. She was so upset when she lost & kept crying. Finally she told me she had wished for a house for us & now it would not happen. She thought if she wished & got the bigger half, her wish would really come true & she could be the one to finally get us a house. What a big heart she has!
Paul
Not much going on for him except working a bunch. A few weeks ago he nabbed a very large account for the company. In Sundance a lot of people have a 2nd home they only use a few times per year. One of the groups of homes is part of a community & Paul got the service department to add fireplace service to their agreements. It ended up being more than 40 fireplaces Paul signed up for the service agreement & he gets $10 for each one. When they cut his check, they knew about 32 so he only got an extra $320 on his check but who cares! lol The extra money was awesome, especially this time of year.
His annual Christmas party for work is next Wednesday & he is really looking forward to it. The first 2 years he worked there, they gave him a $100 gift card to Walmart but last year they gave him a bonus based on how much he made for the company the previous year. We are hoping they do the same this year & if so it should be even more money because Paul has done a lot more for the company.
Stormie
Well shoot, I guess I did not go youngest to oldest, lol Oh well we moms always put ourselves last anyways. The best news for me is getting my gall bladder taken out...finally! After too many tests & specialists, it was decided it did indeed need to be removed. Although right after the surgery I was in a lot of pain, I feel MUCH better now! It was amazing how much better I feel and can now eat without having pain or throwing up every time. The only downside of the surgery is that my body is having a hard time adjusting to not having the GB anymore & my pancreas is having a hard time. I guess it is pretty common for some people and it should not take too long for my body to adjust. I just hope the stupid "phantom" pain I have where my GB was goes away soon too.
