I DID IT!!!!!

I am all done with school! Can you believe it? I now a graduate of legal studies with a focus in criminal law. I am so excited but a little bit sad. The last 2 years have really flown by and college was a big part of my life. Now I almost feel like something is missing.

Anyways, as you all know I was trying very hard to get all A's this last quarter so I could graduate cum laude. The class I was worried about was criminal law but guess what? I managed to get an A-. My final grade is not in yet but I have already figured it up. For my interpersonal communications class I will be finishing with more than 100%. Too bad she cannot really give me that high of a grade but I will know I did so good, lol. My last class is my capstone class & I am still waiting for my final project to be graded. Right now I have a 99% in the class and I have always gotten a 100% on all the projects so I am not too worried. Just in case I figured up that unless I get less than a 75% I will still end the quarter with an A.

I really enjoyed the last class a lot. The prof said that my legal writing was better than most lawyers who have gone through 3 years of law school & passed the bar! He also said I should really consider going on to law school but I am not so sure. I would LOVE to do that but it costs a LOT of money and takes a lot of time. They do offer it at night but that will take 5 years instead of 3 so that is not really an option. In addition it is a lot of work and I will not have much time for the kids & Paul and that is not fair to them. I guess we will see how it goes in the future. I can also see if Utah is one of the few states that lets you take the bar without going through law school. If that is the case I could study really hard and maybe take it without going through 3 years of law school. Most of the information I already know anyway it will just be the applying the law to each situation that might be hard & learning the few areas of law that I did not focus on (estate, wills, bankruptcy, etc..) Oh that prof also said he will write me a letter of recommendation that I can give to prospective employers.

I will let you all know if I will reach my goal and end up graduating cum laude.
