Two important things...

First off I need some advice from all of my wonderful blog readers. As most of you know my 6 year old son Aidyn has lots of medical problems. Most are easily managed & not too serious but his breathing issues are always hard, especially this time of year. He gets sick easily & for the first 5 years of his life, he ended up in the hospital during the fall/winter time. A lot of times it is his allergies that start to stir things up for him but something as small as a little cold will make him very sick.

Luckily I know the signs now & I am able to fight off most illnesses before they become too serious but lately all of my best efforts have failed. I am hoping someone can give me some advice on what I can do to improve what I am doing already or tell me there is some sort of magic cure because I cannot stand to see my little boy sick all the time : (

Currently he takes Zyrtec every night for allergies, cough medicine when he gets bad (have tried every brand but this time it is dymatap) breathing treatments & inhaler when needed both using "Xopenex" (albuteral does not work well for him) humidifier at night to help with the dryness & children's Motrin when he gets a fever. I also use Lysol all the time around the house, make him wash his hands constantly & am obsessive about using hand sanitizer whenever we go out in public. Now even after all of that, if someone sneezes anywhere near him...he gets sick. The school year has just started but he has already missed 2 days & will probably be coming home sick today. Can anyone help me?
