What a shocker!

The other day the school sent home invites for the gifted program. The kids school district does not have a formal program but instead does special activities 3 Saturdays with other gifted kids in the area. Not everyone gets to go & each teacher only gets to invite a few kids, IF they feel they qualify so some classes send no one.

Madi has been invited every year since kindergarten but guess what? Aidyn got invited this year!!!!! That means both of my kids are considered "gifted" Can you believe that? I mean of course I think they are smart but for both of their teachers to think so is pretty darn good. And Aidyn was the ONLY person picked in his class to go! Aidyn, the little boy who last year could not sit still, talked all the time and was in trouble EVERY day (usually more than once) was the only one picked out of his class of 25 kids! Oh and he is already in the advanced 1st grade class anyway.

I am so proud!
