Not too much going on here today. We are off to Walmart in a little while & I need to get 2 weeks of food shopping done. Hopefully it will not take too long because I have a very detailed list all ready to go. I am very anal with my shopping lists & divide it into sections starting with the 1st part of the store & ending with the back of the store. I also put my estimated price next to each item listed & then I will write down the actual price once I pick it up. That way I will know what the price is for future reference. I mainly do this because I try to get all the food bought for under $200 and the lower the price the better. Kind of a pain to go around the store with a calculator every time but it helps me curb any extra spending & helps me really budget things out.

One of my goals for scrapbooking is to vary my pages because they all seem to end up looking pretty much the same. I have a habit of sticking to the same style & I want to change things up a little bit. To start off I decided to scrap something that is not normal for me; ie not use family pictures. One of the tips I have received is to try & scrap the normal happenings in my life. I had a hard time coming up with a topic but finally settled on my hatred of dishes, lol

In the page below you will notice the sink is FULL of dishes. I do need to explain something before you all think I am a big slob. I will be honest & admit that I did let them pile up for a few days but there was more than normal because I cleaned out the kids rooms the day before & found a LOT of missing dishes hidden in their messes.

I hope you like the page & if you like the papers & elements I used you can find where to get them listed in the credits below. It is truly an awesome kit & I had a lot of fun using it.

The only way you can find the kit is if you subscribe to the Scrap N' Art digital magazine. Do not worry it is free & you can get it by going to their website (http://www.scrapnart.com) & signing up. And the fabulous kit I used is not the only free kit available in the Jan/Feb issue either. There are 2 others including an awesome valentines kit by one of my favorite designers Vicki aka "a work in progress" If you have never gone to her site you are truly missing out! You can find the link to her site by clicking on her blinkie on the right side of my blog.

I like it! I hate doing dishes too. Shocker right!? Fortunately I have a dish washer in this apartment and am so grateful for it.
