Lets see...what has happened to us recently that you might be interested in? Oh on Friday afternoon the kids school called me to say that Aidyn got hurt & I needed to come get him right away. Luckily I only had the 2 year old & he was content to be in the stroller, otherwise I do not know how I would have gotten Aidyn.
Once I got there, Aidyn seemed fine until he saw me & then he immediately started crying & ran into my arms. I guess he fell on his face at recess & hurt his mouth pretty bad. He had a baby tooth on the bottom that had twisted and was almost laying flat on the inside of his mouth. He also had a few cuts but luckily most of the bleeding had stopped by the time I got there.
He would not let me look at it but the school nurse said it was not too bad & the tooth should come out very easily. Now if you know anything about Aidyn, you will know that he HATES the sight of blood, especially his. He freaks out anytime he is bleeding, even if its only a paper cut. Because of this he would not shut his mouth all the way and spent the rest of the night & most of the next day drooling & not eating or drinking anything. Finally after I put some orajel on his lips, he decided to eat & the tooth came right out with the 1st bite!
Anyways, I hope everyone had a great Easter. I know we did. We took the kids to an egg hunt on Saturday morning but unfortunately Aidyn was not feeling up to participating because of the whole mouth thing. We left our house at 8:20am & the weather looked pretty nice, minus some clouds hanging over the mountains. Well one minute before the actual hunt started at 9am, it started to rain! What fun it was to stand in the cold rain waiting for Madi to get all her eggs, lol
Yesterday we had a lunch cook out with our friends which was nice & relaxing. My good friend Shanna & I set up an egg hunt for all the kids & they had a blast. I was only able to get a few pictures & they are mostly of Madi since Aidyn would not let me take his.
