At the kids school this week is all about safety; walking, riding bikes to school & seat belts in cars, etc... Today is wear green & the official walk to school. Aidyn was so excited because they are referring to today as "green day" so he wore his Green Day shirt, lol He said he'll win the contest for sure because his shirt actually says green day.
Right outside of the school they had a table set up & were giving away healthy breakfasts & water. They could pick from granola, half a muffin, half a bagel or a granola bar. I ended up having 13 kids walking with me & there was a TON more by the tables. It was pure craziness, LOL But the kids all got a free breakfast, even the ones with me who don't go to that school yet.
Oh yesterday they picked Madi's name from all the kids in the school & she was one of 2 that won a small prize. She ended up with a water bottle and is hoping she can still win the big prize they are giving away today. The odds are very small but she's always been lucky so maybe she'll win.
