Well I survived taking 6 kids by myself to the parade! At first I thought I would only have 5 because Shae is with her birth dad but then I ended up taking Jordan's friend James with us. It worked out pretty well & the kids were good for the most part. The biggest problem was how hot it was. Because a LOT of people save their places the night before, we did not get a spot in the shade. We ended up on the opposite side of the street with the sun directly on us. Of course I got burned too, lol My face & the tops of my feet because I was wearing sandals. You would think that my legs would at least get a little color but nope, nothing.
The hardest part of the day was lunch. Amanda had sent her kids with money so I took everyone to Burger King. The guy who took our order had no idea what he was doing & almost everything was messed up. Besides that keeping track of who got what for 6 kids was HARD. I really admire people who have that many kids because it is difficult.
I do not have any new scrapbook pages to show you all because I have been very busy this week. I am trying to get everything ready for our vacation next week. My plan is to do ALL the laundry today & tomorrow, clean the kids rooms real good & leave the house all perfect when we leave on Wednesday morning. I still need to buy a few more things for the trip & plan out the food we are going to eat in the car. I really do not want the kids to eat fast food for every meal so I am hoping to have most if not all of the meals ready ahead of time. So if anyone has suggestions I will welcome them with open arms, lol

I bet you're totally jazzed about your vacation! Glad you survived the holiday yesterday. We took the kids to BK too. Our order taker couldn't get chucks order or my order right. She finally had to have someone else come help her rofl.
