Stormie's Life

The past couple of days have been very stressful for me! I had issues with my phone & then worst of all, my school. For some reason they still do not have all the credits I already completed showing up in my degree plan. That means that when I tried to sign up for classes, it says I need to take classes I already finished first. Thankfully last night I was able to get registered for the quarter starting on Wednesday. I am taking Real Estate Law (300 level) & for my humanities class "Freedom & Justice" (400 level)

In Real Estate Law I will become familiar with procedures & documentation of real estate transactions. The course will address a wide range of issues and functions within the field of real estate law, including ethics, types of ownership, use, possession, mortgages, financing, taxation, closing & litigation.

I am really excited for the Freedom & Justice class & here is the course description: this course is designed to introduce the student to the foundational philosophies of Freedom & Justice that underlie that stability of the free world. Social stability is not a natural occurrence. A delicate balance of individual rights & freedoms weighed against the need for justice and equality under the law must be maintained not only by law but by individual expression in a free society. The tools gained in this class will prepare a student or enhance a student's ability to fulfill this vital individual role as well as analyze how just principles can dictate the ideal compromise between individual and social freedoms within their own profession, community & worldview.

I have to tell you Madi has been extra sweet the past couple of days! She said she can tell when I am stressed just by my voice & she has been doing little things to help me unwind. Last night she brought me one of her books to read, lite a few candles & told me to just lay down & relax. How sweet is that? Anyways she looked so cute today I had to take a picture to share with all of you. *note, I would have taken a picture of Aidyn as well but he is not feeling well & is home sick. BUT I will add a new picture of him tomorrow*
