Not a good day for electronics!

For the past few weeks my laptop has not been working very well. The power cord only worked if I had it positioned a certain way. (Usually I had to have it draped over the back of the couch, on my shoulder & around the actual laptop which I am sure looked pretty funny) That met I was going off of battery power much of the time. Yesterday the cord completely stopped working & my battery is fully drained! Paul checked it out & we know exactly where it is not working but until I can buy a new one, I have to use the desktop. I know boo hoo but when I am so used to only using my laptop, it is much harder for me to use the desktop. For one thing I cannot type as fast, lol But I am getting the hang of it & I suppose I should get used to it because I am sure the computers I use at work will not be laptops.

Oh on top of the whole laptop issue, my camera was having problems too! The shutter will not open fully so I only get half a pic. Thankfully Paul was able to fix that but now the shutter will not close completely so I have to be extra careful I do not scratch the lens.

Then if that was not bad enough, I cannot find the charge for my MP3 player! I have looked everywhere but no luck. I swear things just seem to disappear in my house never to be found again. It started with Aidyn's DS, then Madi's MP3 player & now my charger. I guess I will be saying the St. Anthony prayer a lot today, LOL

Wow listen to me bitch & complain! You all must thing I am a horrible pessimistic person who has nothing better to do than whine about my problems. I should not be so self absorbed and quit complaining about having electronics issues. I should feel lucky that I am fortunate enough to have these problems in the 1st place because so many people in the world do not even know what they are & spend their lives just trying to survive. AND I am healthy, Paul has a good job & I have good kids (for the most part, hehe) We have a nice apartment to live in, a car that runs good & enough money in the bank to provide us with our needs & even a few "wants" So instead of being a negative complainer, I will not be grateful for what I DO have & suck the rest up, lol

Anyone doing something fun this Labor day weekend? We do not have plans except to celebrate Madi's birthday on Sunday. We always take the kids out to dinner wherever they want (within reason because last time Madi requested Red Lobster, LOL) but so far Madi has not decided where she wants. She has said that instead of cake she wants a Key Lime Pie and that I can do.

We are also busy planning her birthday party. Unfortunately because of her big day always being so close to Labor Day, we have to celebrate a few weeks into September. Last I heard she wants a Karaoke party but who knows it might change before the actual day.

Alrighty I need to get off my unmotivated procrastinating butt & start cleaning. I have a to-do list a mile long & exactly 6 hours until the the kids get off of school. Wish me luck getting most of it done!
